Venture into the dynamic world of traffic control with us! As an AWS flagger at Project Flagging, Inc., you’ll maintain a steady pulse of traffic flow through bustling construction sites and key roadways. Some job sites will require the placement of Advance Warning Signs (AWS). You will receive additional instruction in the safe placement of AWS signs.
With fluctuating start times, your flexibility from Monday through Friday is essential. Given that our job sites often change locations, reliable transportation is a must. Strong English skills are vital as you'll be coordinating with your team via walkie-talkie, ensuring everyone stays safe and everything runs smoothly. On the job, be prepared to stand for 8-10 hours.
Additional AWS Minimum Essential Functions: The ability to lift, bend, and twist. The ability to lift 50lbs. The ability to follow MUTCD guidelines in the proper placement of Advance Warning Signs using the Suggested Sign Spacing Chart and Stopping Sight Distance Chart provided during training.
